Hip Hop Kids Junior

Salsa solo—also called shines—is salsa danced without a partner. It focuses on footwork, body movement, musicality, and styling, helping you build balance, timing, confidence, and personal expression. You’ll practice basic rhythms like quick-quick-slow as well as more detailed movements such as turns, shimmies, and isolations, all of which support and enhance partnered dancing.

This class is designed for students who are beginners or have practiced Hip Hop less than a year. It suits also dancers from other dance style who want to try Hip Hop.
This class will focus on Hip Hop party dance, the core elements of Hip Hop dance. We will practice the moves and the footwork in a good and energetic vibe.

Hip Hop Upper Junior

This beginner-friendly course is open to complete beginners and dancers who want to learn the original Hip Hop foundations - while having fun.
You’ll learn classic moves such as the Running Man, Roger Rabbit, the WOP, Happy Feet and more, alongside the core foundations: bounce, rock, skate, and roll.
Whether you want groove on the dance floor or to properly learn the dance.

Hip Hop Beginner Course

All-level classes focusing on Hip Hop foundations, practising moves and steps and working on variations.
Beginners can learn new moves and more advanced keep on practicing their dance foundations (always!).

A playful introduction to hip hop dance, focusing on confidence, coordination and following group instructions.

Routine Class, we learn a routine using our foundations and learn the groove of the dance.
All-level class.
Drills class, learn a moves foundations or isolation and incorporate it into your freestyle.

Hip Hop Routine

Street Corner Dance is a Hip Hop focused dance studio in Perth, built on authenticity, foundations, and community. We focus on groove, foundations, freestyle, and the core principles of street dance culture, helping dancers build strong fundamentals and genuine self-expression.

We offer structured classes for adults and kids, alongside workshops, jams, and community events that connect our studio to the wider Hip Hop dance scene. Street Corner Dance regularly collaborates with respected international artists such as Loose Joint (New York) and oSaam (Japan), bringing real Hip Hop knowledge and global perspectives into our local community.

We also host B-Style Jam, an underground Hip Hop event that brings dancers, DJs, and creatives together through music and shared culture.
