Fulfilling the requirements needed to teach in New South Wales Schools, all Sonic staff are Qualified and Insured, with current Working With Children Check’s, Anaphylaxis and First Aid Certificates.

For Melanie, teaching is about instilling passion and discovering potential. Offering students the opportunity to explore the knowledge incorporated within the study of dance and performance. Throughout Melanie’s years of dance experience and studies, she has come to understand that for students, a strong foundation in all genres and dance styles is cultivated by the provision of professional guidance and understanding.

Melanie has trained for many years in the styles of Ballet (RAD), Contemporary, Lyrical, Jazz, Funk, Hip Hop (ATOD) and Tap (Newcastle and Glenwood), completing graded examinations. Melanie has been fortunate enough to dance not only in Australia but also overseas, including the USA (New York and LA) and UK (London).
