Our Principal, Michelle Meschiati, founded Silhouette Dance Studio with the vision of creating a safe and inspiring environment for young dancers to train and develop as a part of a supportive dance community.



Michelle began her own dancing career at 4 years of age and trained under Maria Gangemi at Gangemi Dance & Entertainment. From an early age, Michelle had a very strong passion for dance, training in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Acrobats and Irish. 
Michelle has been actively involved in the dance and cheerleading community in Perth for many years and has also taught dance at colleges and schools across WA. Michelle is also a competition adjudicator and APDA examiner across Australia and New Zealand.
