We offer bharathanatyam classes for children & adults of all ages & skill levels, from beginners to advanced.

Our goal is to preserve & promote the rich cultural heritage of Bharatanatyam guided by qualified instructors.

We are dedicated to providing a nurturing & supportive environment where students can grow personally & develop their technique, knowledge of theory & performance skills.

We offer a variety of classes in person & online, school holiday kids programs, as well as workshops & performances for the community.

Sydney Nrityasagara School of Dance was established by Amesha Darshana with a mission of preserving and promoting Bharatanatyam for future generations. She holds a Master of Teaching (Primary) which she has leveraged to design a curriculum to help students achieve their individual goals and aspirations, whether they are pursuing dance as a hobby, arangetram or a professional career.

Amesha follows the lineage of her Guru, Anursha Tharmarajah, whose influence has shaped the curriculum of Nritysagara and Amesha as a Bharathanatyam teacher in Sydney.

Anursha Tharmarajah is the alumnus of the prestigious Kalakshetra School in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India and had the privilege of learning Bharathanatyam from Rukmani Devi Arundel during her time there.
