Ready Set Move is a dynamic program designed specifically for toddlers and their grownups, blending the elements of creative movement and music to foster holistic development and joyful interactions.
The class is thoughtfully structured into three engaging sections: ENGAGE, EXPLORE, and EXPRESS, each catering to different aspects of a toddler's growth and learning journey.
Our move class offers toddlers and their grownup a comprehensive and engaging experience, fostering physical, cognitive, and social development through the power of movement and music.
By engaging in this holistic approach to learning & play, kids build essential skills & a love for movement and music. Participating in READY SET MOVE with the support of a grown up can make a significant contribution to play development.

In this program we encourage your child’s creativity and love across all styles of dance, as we offer an introduction into the captivating world of Jazz, Tap and Classical Ballet. These styles have been crafted and designed to beautifully compliment each other across the 3 class-a-week program, while helping your child build the foundations to develop new skills, techniques, teamwork and discipline in a friendly environment as we aim to create more equiped ‘all rounded’ dancers.

READY SET DANCE’ program.

In this program we encourage your child’s creativity and love across all styles of dance, as we offer an introduction into the captivating world of Jazz, Tap and Classical Ballet. Wonders 2 Tap (6-8 years)

Our Galaxy of Dance program is for students ages 9 years or older. The Galaxy of Dance program is also the next stepping stone for students who have come through our ‘Wonders of Dance’ program or have had previous dance experience and may now be looking to take the next natural progression into building their dance repertoire and aim to become a Dedicated Dancer. We have found this program to be highly beneficial to students who wish to discover their true passion in dance as they experience what each different style has to offer! From the funkiness of Jazz, to the rhythm and musicality learned in tap, and the grace / poise through classical ballet; there is a whole wonder of dance waiting for your child to discover.

We have crafted this classical ballet program for students ages 12yrs or older. Infinity Dancers program is crucial next stepping stone for students who have come through our ‘Galaxy of Dance’ program or have had previous dance experience, and may now be ready to make dance a significant feature in their skills set, now and in the future. We have found this program to be highly beneficial to students who wish to discover their true passion in dance as they experience what each different style has to offer! From the funkiness of Jazz, to the rhythm and musicality learned in tap, and the grace / poise through classical ballet; there is a whole wonder of dance waiting for your child to discover.

Infinity Jazz (12+ years)

Preparatory class for intermediate and senior classical dancers wishing to learn to dance en pointe, as well as dancers learning en pointe to strengthen their technique and abilities. 

Pre-Pointe / Pointe

Jazz class for intermediate dancers, with prior experience in jazz dance (Level 10).

READY SET ACRO is a collaborative acrobatic program developed with Industry Leader Acrobatic Arts, specifically designed for preschoolers. It emphasises safe and effective progressions to foster the physical and social skills needed for healthy early childhood development.
Designed with a structured class approach that promotes a dynamic and engaging preschool acrobatics class that not only promotes holistic developmental milestones but teaches a range of exciting AcroDance Skills.
The program is developed with original music with lyric cues and focuses on three key components: Stretch, Strength, & Skills. 
Ready Set Acro is a fun-filled Acro Dance class with a unique guided training and structured approach. Preschoolers will love learning new skills in a dynamic and engaging environment.

Ready Set Ballet is a magical ballet experience for children aged 2-5. Twirl our mascot will lead our little dancers through each step of the class as they discover the fundamentals of classical ballet.
Our program incorporates specially designed music that captures the beauty of classical ballet, immersing children in a captivating musical journey. 
Our preschool ballet curriculum promotes coordination, body awareness, strength and flexibility. Children are engaged with lyrical cues to enhance their learning experience. 
With the inclusion of props such as rainbow ribbons, feathers and bubbles, children have a blast twirling, swaying and popping bubbles. 
These props add the fun and also support tactile awareness, fine motor coordination and control.

Ready Set Ballet

Ready Set Dance is a combo class of JAZZ, TAP, HIP HOP, SINGING and MUSIC and a whole lot of fun! Our award-winning preschool program offers dance classes for children aged 2-5.
Immerse your preschooler in the magic of Ready set Dance’s energetic, current and original music that keeps them engaged throughout every class.
It develops the musical ear, dynamics and tempo while having fun with instruments and the parachute!
Ready Set Dance’s choreography and class structure is designed to captivate both boys and girls, fostering an inclusive environment where every preschooler can explore and express their love for dance. 
Through our multilevel curriculum, Ready Set Dance promotes the three c’s, confidence, coordination and creativity.

Jamie’s Academy of Dance
was brought to life in 2001 when then dancer and teacher, Jamie, took a leap of faith on a little dance school destined to be closed indefinitely. She saw potential in her students, the love in their families and the dedication of the educators and decided to purchase the Academy, renaming it ‘Jamie’s Academy of Dance’, thus creating her own legacy. It’s been a long and hard road, creating a happy medium where passion meets business, however with a mountain of hard work and sleepless nights, they are all made worth it when seeing the smiles on the happy faces of our dance families!
