Hooman began teaching dance in 2003 and the experience of teaching gave Hooman the incentive to study more of his craft. Hooman was fortunate enough to be instructed in Latin and Ballroom by the inimitable Jenny Rosenfeld. He also completed 3 years full time dance training under Robert Sturrock at Industry Dance in Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary and Ballet. He is currently learning with professional Latin champion, Alarna Donovan and had the honour of learning from Australia’s most recognized and respected dancers, Robert & Helen Ritchey.

Dance training for Dalena began at the age of 3, learning from the greats of the dance industry, Bert Shaw & Camille Edwards. She trained in jazz, tap and ballet and later moving onto the genres of hip hop and acrobatics to enhance her skill, this gave Dalena the strong foundation that she draws upon today.

Taking a step forward in the Latin world training from Professional Australian and International Latin Champions, Robert and Helen Ritchey, has lead Dalena to perform and work in a broad range of dance shows, television and theatre productions.

Dalena has endless talent in all aspects of dance, creation and performance. She is the whole package: a friendly and intelligent soul wrapped up in a vivacious and entertaining performer.

Our exceptional beginner friendly Gyrokinesis(R) Method(formally known as "Yoga for Dancers") class is taught by Gyrotonic(R) Method certified instructor Hooman Ebadi. Hooman is also qualified in specialized equipment in the Gyrotonic method with qualifications in "the jumping stretching board". He is also a personal trainer and professional dancer who is passionate about teaching the joy of movement and "elevating the human experience in your body" by creating more freedom and strength in your movement. This class is beginner friendly and will go through the fundamentals of this method: Arch & Curl Spiral, Narrowing and much more. HD Entertainment is thrilled to be the only studio in Australia to provide Strength & Conditioning, Gyrotonic(R) Method and dance at a professional level.

The majestic, romantic, sensual, powerful, intricate, passionate, dynamic tango is a contagious style of dance. With a rich history of music and dance development we offer classes that will technically, physically and expressively access this beautiful dancing. We start the journey of learning the tango based on the tango walks, cross, ochos (forward & back), giro (circular grapevine movement) then we progress students to paradas, barridas, ocho cortado, ganchos, sacadas, to planeos, colgadas, voleos, Lapiz, embelishments and even to show tango with lifts and tricks.

Your instructor will guide you through a self paced workout to help you develop your fitness goals. The session will include Strength & Conditioning, GYROTONIC(R) and GYROKINESIS(R) Method training and cardiovascular exercises to allow you to achieve a well rounded physical condition. The HD Entertainment model to develop Fitness is based on the following: 1) Focus on alignment of body (posture) and tracking of joints, 2) Activation of musculature, neural awareness and psychological focus, 3) Increase load and complexity of movement/exercise. These sessions are brought to you by Hooman Ebadi who is a qualified Personal Trainer, GYROTONIC(R) and GYROKINESIS(R) Method teacher, Professional dancer who has and continues to study and analyse movement scientifically and creatively.

Learn the basics of dancing with another person. This beginner friendly class is aimed at giving you the basics to move to music with someone and navigate around a dance-floor.

Our studio, HD Entertainment, is located on Level 2 & 3, 34 King Street, Prahran (enter via Mount Street) which is in the heart of Prahran, Melbourne. We have 2 separate levels, level 2 being the dance studio and level 3 being the fitness studio. Both the Dance Studio and Fitness Studio have wheel chair access and there are disabled toilets located on level 1 of the building. We cater to all surrounding suburbs – Toorak, South Yarra, Malvern, Windsor and St Kilda.
