With French and African heritage, and coming from a family of musicians & performers, David has grown up dancing. When he discovered salsa it was love at first sight.

After many years of training with well-known dance instructors in France, David became a teacher himself to share his passion for dance with others.

With over 14 years of experience as a teacher, David has taught and performed throughout France as well as at international dance festivals in locations such as Croatia, Morocco and Qatar.

Now settled in Australia, David continues to share his passion and teach Cuban Salsa, Kizomba, Bachata, Reggaeton and other latin dance classes in Melbourne and Geelong.

Level 2 Cuban Salsa

MIni Social- Salsa + Kizomba

Cuban salsa is a fun, sexy and energetic partner dance that will get your hips moving and keep you smiling on the dance floor all night. In contrast to the linear LA style salsa, Cuban salsa is a more circular and grounded dance with Afro Cuban influenced body movements. We teach complete beginners to advanced dancers. In our Intermediate classes we will work on more complex patterns of movement through teaching small routines over a period of weeks. We will also continue to work on technique and ensure your foundations are not forgotten.

Level 3 Cuban Salsa

In our Kizomba classes we will be teaching a fusion of traditional Kizomba and Urban Kiz from complete beginners to advanced level.

Kizomba is a grounded, smooth flowing dance which originated in Angola with its roots in semba. As a partner dance the beauty of Kizomba comes from the connection, being able to lead and follow in complete harmony while immersing yourself in the music. It’s the perfect dance to improve your lead and follow skills in other dance styles. In our Intermediate classes we will work on more complex patterns of movement through teaching small routines over a period of weeks. We will also continue to work on technique and ensure your foundations are not forgotten.

Pre-requisite:
You should have at least 12 months of dance experience.
