Avantika Dance School is a premier institution dedicated to the promotion and preservation of the rich tradition of Kathak dance. We are starting classes this year, in 2024, in the heart of the Upper North Shore area in Hornsby, aiming to be a nurturing ground for passionate individuals seeking to delve into the world of classical dance. Our mission is to impart the highest quality Kathak training while fostering a deep appreciation for the cultural and artistic heritage of India.

Ramandeep Kushwah, is a dedicated disciple of the renowned Kathak maestro, the Late Shri Heera Lal Johari, and Shrimati Vidhyottama Kushwah. Hailing from the prestigious Jaipur Gharana, her dance journey is steeped in the rich traditions of Kathak.
Her qualifications include a B.A. in Kathak from Vikram University, Ujjain and the  Sangeet Prabhakar in Kathak from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad. With over 15 years of teaching experience, she brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to her role, dedicated to imparting the art of Kathak to aspiring dancers.
