Lyrical class for young dancers with prior dance experience, specifically ballet and/or lyrical. Lyrical dance encompasses technique and style from different genres of dance, including ballet, jazz, acrobatics, and modern dance.

Oliveah has over 22 years experience in dance training and spent most of her young dance career competing in All Star jazz, hiphop and pom.  Oliveah is a versatile and knowledgeable coach specialising in jazz, lyrical and All Star hiphop. Across her competitive dance career, she accumulated 15 state titles, 20 national titles and 7 medals at Dance Worlds, International Cheer Union & China Cheerleading Association.

After completing her business degree, she now plans on extending herself to a larger community to offer students her unique and effective teaching style and create an environment where teamwork, success and a strong work ethic is paramount.

Originally from Newcastle, Miss Elise has been training in performing arts for the past 17 years, and teaching for the last 6. She has trained extensively in dance, musical theatre, singing and acting. She has completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology, a Certificate 4 in Ministry (Dance & Leadership), and a Certificate 3 in Live Production and Services. Elise teaches throughout the hills district, overseeing acro and musical theatre programs, competition and school troupes and recreational classes across various styles.
Miss Elise is a current member of Rosebourke’s open elite jazz, lyrical and hiphop teams. Her wealth of knowledge and powerhouse energy and technique make her an asset to the team and an incredible role model to our younger students.


Laura started her dance training at age 3 where she fell in love with the art of dance and trained in across most genres of dance as well as gymnastics, where her love of classical ballet soon came her strongest passion. 
Laura has attended various ballet and dance summer school programs through her dance training years. 
She spent 2 years at Brent Streetundergoing her Diploma in Dance Teaching Management. 
Laura has her Registered Teachers Status with the Royal Academy of Dance and is also Acrobatic Arts accredited.
Some of Laura’s group and solo choreographic work has taken out Titles at competitions such as Showcase Regionals and Nationals, Dance Life Unite and Sydney Eisteddfod. Laura’s hope to all her students is that she can provide a encouraging and positive learning environment.

Ruby started dance at age 3 and from an early age had a passion to be on stage and perform.  Ruby started competing competitively from age 7 and continues to compete at a national level today.  Over the year’s Ruby has grown to love all styles of dance with her passion being in commercial styles and technique. 

 

Ruby currently studies full time dance at an elite studio on the Northern Beaches, where she has the opportunity to learn from some of Australia’s top choreographers.

 

Recently, Ruby completed her Certificate IV in Dance and is excited to bring her passion and enthusiasm for dance to Rosebourke Studios.

Mikayla is a vibrant, passionate, hardworking and powerful dancer whose dance journey began at the age of 6 where she learnt ballet, jazz and hip hop. From there she discovered her passion for competitive dancing which encouraged her to train harder and more intensely as well as work privately with Miss Oliveah to improve her stage presence and technique. During that time Mikayla has achieved state, national and international success in jazz, pom, hip-hop and All Star cheerleading; her results are a testament to her work ethic and character. Mikayla shines in all genres of dance but her specialties lie in jazz and hip-hop. At such a young age she has competed in a number of prestigious competitions at national and international levels. She is currently training as a soloist and key team me

Phoebe started dancing at the age of 3 where she began learning jazz, tap and ballet. Like Mikayla, she found a passion for competitive dancing at the young age of 7 and so began training more intensely, primarily focusing on jazz, jazz technique, hip-hop and pom. Though she is young, she has an incredible dance history and still has huge goals for herself in the near future. 

 

On stage, Phoebe is a versatile performer and stands out in hard-hitting jazz routines. As her desire to improve grew, she began working privately with Miss Oliveah to refine her technique and overall stage presence. This along with her constant work ethic both in and out of the studio has seen Phoebe win countless state, national and international titles. 

Meet Bella, one of our newest dance teachers with a passion for nurturing the youngest talents at our studio. With 16 years of personal dance experience, Bella trained in hip hop, jazz, and contemporary styles.
In 2023, she began her journey at Rosebourke as a cover teacher for our tiny and recreational students and has now taken on a permanent role at the studio as not only our Tiny Twirlers teacher, but played a role in the co-creation of this program alongside studio founder Miss Oliveah.

Bella's dance journey has been enriched by her training at studios including Lauren Hollingworth's, Eliza Jane, and Squad Dance Studio. Her commitment to fostering a love for dance in our youngest dancers is evident in her dynamic teaching approach.
