Learn Classical Ballet from a qualified ‘Royal Academy of Dance’ teacher. Classical Ballet requires students to have discipline and be focused on the task that is presented to them. Ballet increases technique, flexibility, core strength, spatial awareness, musicality and performance qualities. At PPAC students are able to enjoy training with their peers in a encouraging atmosphere with exciting and challenging repertoire. The younger dancers co-ordination, balance and posture are challenged in fun and engaging ways, utilizing a variety of props. As students progress through the grades and into the vocational stream, students learn character dance and point work. Students have the choice to either work towards their R.A.D. exams, or learn Ballet purely for their own progression.
