In Junior Ballet, your child will learn the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus, providing strong foundations within a creatively enriching curriculum. Junior Ballet refines ballet techniques while allowing your child to develop their own unique artistry. Character work is introduced, adding a new dimension to their training. Students progress to using ballet barres and learning steps like “developpes.” They may be invited to enrol for an RAD exam or participate in an in-house presentation.

Le Petit Ballet is a wonderful place for your child to experience the joys of dance. Our studio is a vibrant space where each student feels connected and celebrated. We offer small classes for children from two years old including ballet, jazz, Lyrical and tap.

Our studio aims to support our students on their dance journey. Whether it is to provide a place to connect and be creative or offer the pathways if your child is interested in pursuing the arts.

Le Petit Ballet Cancellation policy v21

Laura has been teaching dance for over a decade. She began dancing at a young age, studying classical ballet, jazz and tap. She always had a passion to teach. After completing her final Advanced exam with the Royal Academy of Dance she continued her studies in Ballet Teaching. She has taught a diverse range of ages and styles at many reputable studios across Sydney. Laura just adores teaching a first plié and aims to inspire and encourage all her dancers. Her nurturing and dedicated approach brings out the best in her students. Laura has been a registered teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance since 2009. Continuing her love for movement and wellbeing Laura is also a qualified Yoga, Barre and Pilates instructor. She has trained in Kid’s yoga and yoga therapy.

Emily is originally from England, she trained at The School Of Ballet Theatre UK and graduated into their associate touring company where she danced many soloist roles, her favourite being Dorothy from the Wizard Of Oz. During the Covid-19 lockdown her professional direction changed and she created an online dance program for a local school. This is when she fell in love with teaching ballet to children of all ages. Emily studied the art of dance teaching in Berlin and will soon also be a registered teacher with the Royal Academy Of Dance. Emily loves teaching dance so much that in 2023 she moved across the world to pursue her next teaching adventure in Sydney! Emily realises how important early learning in ballet classes is and how it shapes each child into a unique thinker and dancer.
