<p>Our Adult Tap (Absolute Beginner) class is for absolute beginners, who do not have any prior tap-dancing knowledge or experience. Join with other first time tap dancers and have fun learning a new skill together! In this class you will; ​ • Learn the fundamental basics and technique of tap dancing • Understand key tap vocabulary and terminology • Increase strength, balance, coordination and agility • Enhance your cognitive abilities, mental focus and memory • Improve your rhythm, timing and musicality</p>

Lauren's love of dance started at the age of 4, learning classical ballet. The next year she began jazz ballet and tap and has never looked back!

She has trained with industry professionals dancing at Millennium Dance Complex (LA, California), Mad Dance House (Brisbane), Sydney Dance Company, Brent Street, and Tap Dogs (Sydney) within the styles of Hip Hop, JFH,Theatre Jazz, and Tap. She has also taught at various dance schools across Sydney including Nova Studios, The Australian Institute of Performing Arts, Groove Nation, and Pistachio Entertainment.

Her passion for dance teaching and choreography developed during her Bachelor of Arts (Media) and Master of Teaching - Secondary (Drama and Dance) degrees. It was during her studies when she founded Dancing Through Life in 2019.

Dancing Through Life Studios is an adult dance studio located in Sydney's North Shore. Our studio prides itself on our unique social atmosphere we provide to our dancers. We are more than just a dance studio but a community of adults who have a love of music, theatre and dance. Our Studio Classes are relaxed, fun and inclusive, and provide more than just a dance class but a well-rounded knowledge of dance genres, technical terminology, and useful skills.
